National Baseball Hall Of Fame
The National Baseball Hall of Fame is a popular destination for all true fans who want a taste of past of this great sport. There are 3 separate floors in the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum with each having its own unique features and displays. Interesting activities and features make this a great place for all ages to spend the day.
On the first floor in the National Baseball Hall of Fame, there is the Halper Gallery, Induction Row, the Plaque Gallery, and also the Sandlot Kids Clubhouse for the children to enjoy. Induction Row in the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum displays various artifacts that relate to the recent inductees.
There are also photos of the past Hall of Fame that can be viewed on the weekends. Halper Gallery is a rotating exhibit art show that will change from time to time. One of the most famous galleries is the Plaque Gallery. This must-see feature contains the induction plaques of all members.
The second floor is the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum + Location where fans of all ages can view artifacts in a time-line to truly experience the entire history of the sport. This exhibit, known as The Game, also has other rooms that are devoted to particular areas of interest. These include the Babe Ruth Room, women in baseball, 19th century baseball, and the 500 home run club among others. The Today's Game exhibit is one that true fans find to be an exciting place to see because it is designed as a replica of a real baseball clubhouse.
The last and third floor has areas devoted to post-season baseball, presentations about some of the National Baseball Hall of Fame picture and artifact collection, a records room, and a section about the ballparks. Each floor has its own areas that fans seem to be drawn to for one reason or another.
There is so much to be seen at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum that it may take an entire day. True baseball fans who really want to learn more can do so here more than anywhere else in the world. National Baseball Hall of Fame selective bibliographies can be found in the library to use as research tools or just for the general learning aspect. They can be found pertaining to Women in Baseball and certain baseball players and how they have directly impacted the sport that we know today.
