Topps Baseball Cards
Topps has produced some of the best baseball cards since the year 1951. Topps baseball cards started off by producing its first baseball card in 1951 using a Red and Black set. However it was actually in 1952 that they had ventured to bring the modern concept of sports trading cards to life.

The 1993 Topps baseball cards had altogether 792 cards that were issued in cello, wax and rack packs. It was issued as a complete factory set in the J.C.Penney catalog and offered to Baseball card stores in plain brown boxes. These cards had an action photo with a circular portrait in the front, lower corner. The 1986 Topps baseball cards had base cards that numbered 792 which were in wax, cello and rack pack or factory sets. Trading cards here numbered 132. The 1988 Topps baseball card values are quite high, considering the fact that it had pictures of members of the US baseball team on it. The 1991 Topps baseball checklist includes baseball cards of all the top players of the year, and the decade on them.
The specialty of the 1997 Topps baseball card set was that it had Jared’s rookie card in it. The 2007 Topps baseball cards have abnormal popularity because of the presence of Derek Jeter card in it. This card was issued by both Mickey Mantle and George Bush on it where Mickey is waiting for his batting chance while Bush watches the game from the stands.
So it can be seen that Topps baseball cards value varies with its year of production and its special features. It is always better to refer to a Topps baseball cards book or Topps baseball cards lists to get a rough idea of the popularity and prices of the different Topps baseball cards in the market.
